LoDo's floor plan conversation is dominated by two product types with very different buyer priorities.
For historic loft product, the floor plan is largely given: the warehouse conversion's structural grid determines the layout, the ceiling heights are determined by the original building, and the buyers who choose this product are specifically attracted to the large open floor plates, high ceilings, and industrial proportions that make loft living distinctive. The renovation decisions in loft product are about respecting this given character while adding contemporary functionality.
For high-rise condominium product, the floor plan reflects standard condominium design principles: efficient layouts that maximize livable area within the building envelope, kitchen and living area configurations that work within the structural constraints of high-rise construction, and primary suite designs that deliver the quality that the price tier requires.
The home office requirement applies in both product types but is easier to accommodate in loft product's larger open floor plates than in efficient high-rise condominium layouts. Buyers who require dedicated door-enclosed office space should specifically evaluate the floor plan's capacity to provide this before committing to any specific LoDo unit.
